2. Land Surveyor
To perform survey activities for Civil Engineering, Topographical, Boundary Survey, Mining and Exploration

Qualification  :
1. S-1 Degree in Geodetic Surveying with minimun 5 years experience in performing Land survey in survey mining will be an advantage
2. Capable of using the GPS and Total Station Survey Equipments
3. Capable of computerizing the Data Processing
4. Good Communication skill in English es preferable and capable of managing crews

Work condition on remote area in North Sumatra and work roster on 4 weeks working and 2 weeks rest and or as required.

The GIS/Cartography Officer (GCO) is responsible for designing a training program/-workshop for introduction to participatory sketch mapping. (S)he also plays an important role following the workshops to assist the community to record/plot important landmarks and sites of cultural/historical value land-use as well as proposed boundaries of the area claimed by the community on their sketch maps and transfers these onto existing digital maps. These digital maps should then be compared with each other and with existing land-use maps at, for example, the Provincial and Regency Forestry Offices,to provide feedback to the Community Mobilization Officers to assist with negotiations between stakeholders. The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) is one of the 15 Future Harvest centres supported by the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). As a global leader in agroforestry research and development, ICRAF ultimate purpose is to improve human welfare by reducing poverty, increasing cash income, improving food and nutritional security, and increasing environmental resilience through improved agroforestry systems. ICRAF has its headquarters in Nairobi , Kenya , and works in 21 countries throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America .
The Position. ICRAF currently has projects in a number of districts in NAD and Nias on action research and development support on tree crops, nurseries and land use planning. ICRAF has plans to provide backup support to BAPPEDA and district line agencies on land use planning for sustainable development in Aceh Barat. The planning will explicitly incorporate tree crops that people want in Aceh Barat. In order to strengthen our efforts of providing technical support to BAPPEDA and other partners, ICRAF is seeking to appoint one full time Spatial Planning Officer (SPO) to be based in Meulaboh. The SPO will take a key role in actively contributing to the spatial planning process in the district level, capacity building of government officials in spatial planning and in managing relevant data and information of the study areas in Aceh. These activities are planned to assist government line agencies, currently in Aceh Barat, in the process of efficient land use planning and co-ordination at the district levels. The SPO will be a member of the Spatial Analysis Unit and supervised by the Unit Leader. She/he will be a member of the Meulaboh field staff and work closely with colleagues in field and Bogor .
